You are my spirit animal! I love for April fools day especially for my husband. Last year I dipped a cotton ball on chocolate and froze it- he chewed that sucker like it was a never ending gobstopper lol. One year I soaked his toothbrush in lemon extract, put red food coloring in his toothpaste, bengay on the toilet seat, popits under the toilet seat, the list goes on! Every year I have to get better- would love to hear some ideas from you! You’re awesome! Keep it up!
One year I had started dating my now husband and on April fools day I told him I was pregnant. He was in horror. (We’re both retired and in our 60’s so there was no way this could be true). I then screamed April fools. I haven’t laughed so hard since! It was the best.
Today, I texted my son, who is a sophomore, and asked if he had any idea why I had received an angry phone call from the principal demanding that I be at school for a 1:45 meeting. He was shook, y’all. This kid never gets into trouble. I would’ve let it go longer but he was going to leave class to go to the principal’s office to see if he had mistaken him for someone else. When I told him “April Fools” he told me to remember that he would pick my long term care 🤣
