I can’t keep a plant alive to save my soul. Last year I bought 2 artificial jangling baskets at Joanne’s and if I didn’t tell you , you would think they were real. I did plant real flowers in a standup flower box and they were doing nicely until we had a storm and the wind blew the flower box over. So much for that. My hanging baskets are almost ready to be put out for another season. Buy the artificial flowers Melissa and sit outside with David and enjoy them.

I choose plants for patio and pool area, but hubby keeps them alive. Front porch is definitely fake flowers for me. I switch out for seasons/holidays.

Love your posts..no matter what you share..because life’s a journey, right? 😉

Girl, I’m so happy to hear someone else is using fake flowers!!! I’ve tried to make my front porch look pretty for years. But dang it’s hot here in Texas well when is it not? But summer kicks my butt when I try to have pretty flowers. So hello fake flowers!!! Lol

I love this! I'm blessed that my husband has the green thumb AND since we retired almost three years ago, he does 90% of the cooking, it's a win-win! Hey, I paid my dues for many years raising the kids, being chauffeur, cook, shopper, cleaner, etc!

I pray that spring puts a spring in your step and a smile on that beautiful face of yours!

Now why didn't I think of that? Every Spring I agonize about what plants I can have in my yard. Which ones will thrive in lots and lots of shade. I have trees all around. It really doesn't matter, though, because any plants that come into my yard know the minute they are in the ground they are on their own. It's survival of the fittest around here. So the idea of planting fake flowers is BRILLIANT! Amazon, here I come. Thanks, Melissa!
