After having gastric sleeve surgery and losing 90 pounds but struggling with this last 40, I really don’t like how I feel physically. Even if I get these 40 pounds off, I will still be overweight and a big girl, but I will be where I think I want to be. I also struggle greatly with friendships. Outside of work (I teach), I don’t really have friends other than my two grown daughters. They live 1.5 hours from me though so I don’t get to see them as much. This middle stage of life has been the hardest yet.
it's a mix between I hate how I feel (physically) and new stage, new season. I have very little contact with adult friendships as I stay to myself other than work...maybe that needs to be the new season!
